Earthquakes, Floods, Hurricane, Fire and many more disasters can never be predicted and can give a sudden entry into our lives. If we are not ready to face them then they is no second go than becoming their victims. All of these can cause very dangerous disasters and none of us will survive if no precautions are taken. Most of us are not prepared for more than 1 or 2 days to live without electricity, water, or food. Every year there is some or the other natural disaster like hurricanes, fires, winter storms, and earthquakes ravage parts of the United States and almost about 1000's of people become helpless. Surviving a disaster is never easy but you need to be prepared.

Survival kits play a very important role in such emergency situations and can provide you some minimal survival needs at the time of emergencies. Some of the experts say you need a minimum of 3 days’ supply of water and food during the time of emergencies as it will take time for the government aid to reach you. Medications can be critical to your survival as well, so have a few extra days supply ready to go on a moment’s notice or already packed in your emergency survival kit bag. At least have a decent first aid kit handy since cuts and wounds are probable during a major disaster.
